Motivated by a deep longing for Truth, Jacob has turned to the practices of prayer, contemplation, meditation, yoga, sacred sound, and committed spiritual study.
Of primary influence has been the path of Devotional Nonduality, outlined by the teachings of Dr. David R. Hawkins. Additional influences include mentor Akasha Shakira Devi, the Gong Avatar Academy, A Course in Miracles, Kundalini Yoga, his Jewish upbringing, Reiki healing techniques, To-Shin-Do martial arts, Jungian psychology and archetypal studies, Paramahansa Yogananda, Sri Anandamayi Ma, Sufi poetry, and years of study in classical music. He has deep respect for all the major religions and their respective saints and sages, but he is most deeply bowed by the grace and love of Jesus Christ, who is his Lord and Savior.
Jacob has led dozens of gong healings in workshops, yoga studios, A Course In Miracles retreats, and private sessions. He has co-hosted overnight gong concerts and large events in France, New York City, New Jersey, Los Angeles, and Miami. He has also appeared as a guest on the podcasts Enlightened Masculinity and The Mystical Positivist.
After training with Dr. Mahan Rishi Singh Khalsa & Nirbhe Kaur Khalsa from 2019-2020, Jacob was certified by the Kundalini Research Institute as a
Kundalini Yoga Teacher. He has also been certified by the International Center for Reiki Training as a Level II Reiki Practitioner.
Additionally, as a senior in high school, Jacob came out to his classmates in an awards speech, which quickly went viral on YouTube with over 2,000,000 views. Since then, Jacob has blazed many trails in the LGBTQ+ community with over 10+ years of effort in local, regional, and national advocacy. In 2020, he was awarded a spot on the Forbes: 30 Under 30 Law & Policy list for his success in social reform work. He is currently the Executive Director of The Pride Network, a non-profit organization dedicated to cultivating heart-centered leadership in the LGBTQ+ community. He has been recognized with numerous awards for demonstrations of leadership and courage.
Inspired to deepen his journey of healing and awareness, Jacob is pursuing graduate studies in Classical Five-Element Acupuncture at the Institute of Taoist Education & Acupuncture (ITEA) in Louisville, CO. He is scheduled to complete his studies in 2027.

Kundalini Yoga
What is Kundalini Yoga?
"Kundalini Yoga is called the Yoga of Awareness. It is a dynamic, powerful tool that is designed to give you an experience of your soul.
In Kundalini Yoga we harness the mental, physical, and nervous energies of the body and put them under the domain of the will, which is the instrument of the soul. This technology precisely and consciously combines breath, mudra, eye-focus, mantra, body locks, and postures to balance the glandular system, strengthen the nervous system, expand lung capacity, and purifiy the blood. It brings balance to the body, mind, and soul.
Kundalini Yoga is not a religion. When we apply the technology of Kundalini Yoga to our bodies and minds, it has the effect of uplifting the spirit. It is for everyone. It is universal and nondenominational."
